Painting.
The problem
What was broken.
A high-end exterior painting crew in Charlotte was doing $80K+ jobs on historic homes — but their website looked like a Craigslist ad. Stock photos of paint cans. Comic Sans-adjacent typography. They were losing bids to competitors with weaker portfolios but better-looking sites. The work was excellent. The presentation was killing them.
What I did
The work.
- 01Full brand redesign: new logo, type system, and a black/cream/sage palette pulled from their actual paint jobs.
- 02Photographed 12 of their finished projects (real photos, not stock).
- 03Built a portfolio-driven WordPress site on Bricks with editorial-style case study layouts.
- 04Added a "Get an estimate" flow that asks the right qualifying questions up front.
- 05Wrote 6 service pages targeting their best-margin work.
